Arbi/Colocasia/Seppankizhangu Fry (சேப்பங்கிழங்கு வறுவல்)


Colocasia - 250 gms
Chilli powder/ Garam masala powder - 1 tspn
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tspn
Hing - 1/4 tspn
Rice flour - 2 tspn
Salt for taste

  1. Wash and Pressure cook or steam cook till 3/4 th cooked.
  2. Peel and thinly slice them in a round shape.
  3. Add chilli /garam masala powder, turmeric, hing and salt.
  4. Mix it and sprinkle rice flour to the mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry it till it comes golden brown.
  6. Goes well with rasam or curd rice.
